On 25 October, I’ll be in Longford for the launch of the Samhain Harvest Anthology at Lyons Bar, 31 Main Street, Longford Town.
Two of my poems, Mitóg and Bonfire, are included in the anthology, and I’ve confirmed that I’ll be attending the launch and have put my name forward to read from the book on the day.
The launch begins at 3pm in the performance area behind Lyons Bar.
There is something particularly nice about hearing poetry read aloud in a room full of people. Poems live differently once they leave the page.
I’m looking forward to meeting some of the other writers involved and finally seeing the finished anthology in the fles
